For over thirty years Jane has worked within the social care and health sector.
She has had the privilege to meet many people along the way within different care settings which include nursing homes, day services and supported living.
Following the completion of her Nurse training Jane has worked predominantly with people who have a learning disability. Jane is committed to ensuring people who we support will have access to services that promote respect and dignity, supported appropriately to fit their needs and enable people to actively participate within their local communities, whilst developing their independence skills and achieving their personal aspirations.
Outside of work Jane enjoys spending time with her family, not forgetting the dopiest beagle you could ever meet. To go out, Jane enjoys long walks, especially if she can make it to a Cornish beach or attending music gigs that take her back to her youth. Jane also enjoys time to relax at home with crafts of various descriptions or a good book.

Natasha started work within the care sector 18 years ago and always wanted to make a difference to people’s lives and make people smile.
She applied for a role as a carer/support worker and throughout the years worked with individuals with a very broad range of social care and support needs.
Natasha has progressed within the sector from a carer/support worker to her present position as Operations Director. She has been with Upward Care for over eight years and looks forward to continuing her career journey with the organisation.
Natasha is extremely dedicated to her vocation and role, however, when she does have spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with her family.

Andy has been involved in social care, education and health for over 30 years in a variety of roles and settings. Having experienced the joy of many different roles from support worker to registered manager, and tutor to director, Andy wishes to pass on his knowledge, expertise and guidance to as many colleagues as possible. He loves saying to people “If I can do it, so can you”.
Andy’s interests are varied too. He has a keen interest in history and enjoy visiting historical sites, for example, World War One battlefields, holy land, Istanbul and sites around the UK. Andy likes using his hands to be creative, as well as the usual DIY and presently in the process of applying for patents for a few “inventions”.
In his own words, Andy “unfortunately, follows Kidderminster Harriers FC, and for those of you who are aware of the football hierarchy, you will realise this is indeed a heavy burden”.

Since the age of 18, Nicolle has demonstrated a deeply passionate approach to her roles within the Health and Social Care sector. Joining Upward Care in 2020 and taking over as Manager at Sunhaven in 2024. Nicolle has demonstrated her dedication to the continued development of her team, her tenants, the sector and her own professional/personal development, time and time again; since the beginning of her journey with us just 5 years ago. Introducing fantastic initiatives, and fundraising (on countless occasions) for both tenant and staff driven projects at Sunhaven.
She has spent many years building a repertoire of knowledge, skills, and experience in a wide variety of specialisms including; learning disabilities, residential care, nursing homes and supported living.
Nicolle has not only been able to study these areas in depth but, was also, at one stage in her career, a care assessor. Utilising all her talent to develop the next generation of support workers in their knowledge and career. The practices of which in her management role, she implements daily with her team.
It is her goal that as the Manager at Sunhaven she would like to share her passion for caring with others and to continue to provide high quality care and support. To continue to provide a welcome culture, and ensure it feels more like home then a care setting. To ensure that we are reducing isolation barriers and there is continual encouragement to be part of the community, in all aspects of daily life.
